Here we are only two days before Christmas 2020. I hope you took some time to hit the pause button and spend time with Jesus. I did. Over time, this has become my favorite part of Christmas. Oh, I do love being with family and friends, surprises under the Christmas tree, and this year, time with my grandson. Yet, being in the presence of Jesus is matchless. While in His presence I kept hearing the word—Believe.
This Christmas season, for the first time since I can remember, I bought a Christmas sweater. Some refer to these as ugly Christmas sweaters, although this one isn’t ugly. You may have your own opinion, and that’s fine too. Nonetheless, I don’t believe in coincidences. This sweater was designed for such a time as this.
On the eve before Christmas, I want to encourage you to believe…
B—be a person who dares to hope when things seem hopeless.
E—elevate your life by renewing your mind with God’s Word.
L—live beyond limitations.
I—invest your time with eternity in mind.
E—eagerly seek to honor God in all you do and say.
V—value yourself and others with the utmost honor.
E—emulate God’s love every day.
This Christmas, will you find the courage and take the risk to B.E.L.I.E.V.E?
“I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you, he is the Messiah, the Lord” (Luke 2:10-11).
Merry Christmas!
